Our code of ethics and conduct
Our code of conduct is based on extracts of the Code of Conduct of the Mauritius Institute of Directors as follows:
- We are expected at all times to act in such a way so as not to bring ourselves or our brand into disrepute whether in our personal or professional capacity.
- We are expected to comply with the applicable laws and regulations in Mauritius (including confidentiality matters) and in those countries in which they may operate, as well as with the Mauritian Code of Corporate Governance.
- We are required to conduct ourselves professionally with the highest standards of honesty, objectivity, and integrity, exercising diligence, loyalty, reliability, responsiveness, professional competence, and due care in carrying out our duties and responsibilities, with kindness, politeness, and consideration towards others.
- We shall at all times respect the pillars of good corporate governance which are based on the principles of transparency, accountability, fairness, and responsibility.
- We shall always be cognizant of our responsibilities as professional persons and citizens of the wider community.
- We shall at all times safeguard the interests of our stakeholders, provided that they shall not knowingly be a party to any illegal or unethical activity.
- We shall not act in any way that may be in conflict with the legitimate interests of our clients or which would prejudice the performance of our professional duties and we shall act with professional judgment and with such reasonable care and skill that can be expected of us.
- We shall strictly abide by our values and code of conduct in our day-to-day operations and in the delivery of our services.
- We shall use our best endeavours to not transact with parties that do not have a Code of Conduct as rigorous as ours.
- We are a psychologically safe company
